Place pretty glass bottles of still and sparkling water around the table so guests can refill their glasses as needed. Fresh lemonade and mocktails are also fun options.

Whether baking isn’t your forte or you just don’t have the time, consider picking up a decedent tart or beautiful cake from a local bakery.

AFTER-DINNER DRINKS

Once the food is served and the meal is eaten, guests will often linger around the table. Encourage your guests to stay and chat by offering cups of coffee or hot tea. Not only does this extend the fun, it gives you a chance to relax and savor the moment. A cup of coffee will also give guests energy for the drive home after the big meal.
